Finished this wonderful book last night. Wow, what's a tear-jerker! Kristin Hannah always managers to tug at my heart strings. This one was no different. Excellent read!

Not quite as many books as I'd hoped for but I'm still happy with the numbers. I was in a slump towards the end of the year. Here's to hoping 2021 is better.

It's been a long while since I've posted on her but this book motivated me to restart. Her books never disappoint but this one really had me contemplating the things that happened during the war. We read about history but don't always get the thoughts on those who suffered on both sides, both then and in the future.

Getting a little reading in before work this morning. This is my 3rd book of Colleen Hoover's and I believe she may be one of my new favorite writers. Being pulled into the story and feeling the anticipation the characters feel...that's good stuff!

Is there an app y'all recommend to catalog your books so that you can loan them out to friends and keep track of who has what?

This right here folks, is a thing of beauty. I went from one bookcase that was overflowing and two big stacks of books on the floor to this wonderful sight. A big thanks to my wonderful fella for helping me get the bookcases up here.
Although there isn't much room to add, I now have everything on display AND it's in alphabetical order by author.

This wanderlust heart is made to travel. Pretty much everywhere I go I get so caught up in the culture or scenery that I'm never ready to come home. One of my favorites, though, was visiting the Alps in Germany. We were able to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, took a cable car to the top of the Alps, and saw some cathedrals. There is so much history and culture there that I don't think I can ever see it all. #7DAYSGIVEAWAY

I may not have made it the full 24 hours but this is definitely the most I've read in a weekend. I was able to read 3 1/2 books, 2 of which were over 400 pages 😊 I'm going to try this challenge again soon, even if for my own personal satisfaction.

I try to keep my nightstand pretty clear. My inner OCD prefers it this way 😉 I did do a stack for the #24in48 readathon, though. There are several longs novels here so I'm hoping to get through a couple at least over the remaining 18 hours.

After finishing The Sirens of Titan, my son, Noah, convinced me to read this one also by Vonnegut. I feel like it's something I should have read in high school and perhaps I did check out the Cliff Notes at some point. I'm sure it's on a list of must read books somewhere. The witty humor and sadness even in the first few chapters is definitely intriguing.
