Stanmore couldn‘t have stood less of chance.
However, much as I loved Idle Grounds, Moominland knocked it out of the running on the left side of the board. AND, much as I loved Moominland, I expect my Wild Card to sideswipe it in the end.
The drama!!!

I‘m not sure where my head was yesterday when I posted my May book bracket pick — but I need to revise it! My top choice for May is “Not Too Bold“ by Hache Pueyo. It‘s a hauntingly beautiful story: original, unsettling, and deeply moving. At its core, it‘s about love — the kind that embraces someone completely, both because of and in spite of who they are... Favorite of May: The Book of Charlie
#2025ReadingBracket
My #2025readingbracket is filling up fast with all kinds of fantasy books. I loved how fearless wrapped up the trilogy so that was for sure my favorite this month. Think I have a type? 😂 @CSeydel
Sanderson is clearly going to be all over my #2025readingbracket thanks to our #cosmerebuddyread ! There were so many great new releases but I will be thinking of this trilogy ending for a long time! Could end up being my fav of the year even! Let‘s see what‘s next!
#2025ReadingBracket Thank you @CSeydel for the amazing template! I had so many 5 star reads this month:
Four Ruined Realms
Mistborn
Dreams Lie Beneath
But of course my favorite of the month had to go to Onyx Storm (with Mistborn taking one of my wildcard spots already!) Onyx just gave me all the feels and I‘m upset we have to wait another year to see what happens next.
