I‘m behind with #5JoysFriday because I had a cold most of the week and was not very joyful ? I‘m feeling better now so here‘s my list.

1.Went for ?on Sunday

2.Played a LOT of Disney Dreamlight Valley while resting on the couch

3.Had a Zoom session with my master‘s course classmates. They keep me motivated!

4.Saw a ? IN OUR BACKYARD!

5.Yesterday was the first day warm enough for sandals ??

Taking a break from trying to gather some things for my upcoming Maine work trip along with other errands. Camping at the coffee shop for a bit with the barista‘s recommendation of the Kai Club sandwich & my usual dirty chai latte with Oatmilk & a pump of coconut syrup.

Reading a few chapters of the tagged book & all the #5JoysFriday post I haven‘t gotten to yet. 💛💛💛 Then journaling catch up & some #LitsyLove replies.

1. I drew this oracle card with this message on it. The affirmation in the guidebook says,”I have everything I need at all times.” I like this ocean life oracle deck. It has positive messages on it.
2. I took my dog for a walk to the dog park
3. Watched The Masked Singer
4. Fed the birds and put out mealworms and shelled peanuts. They love it.
5. Watched Joyce Meyer tonight on a livestream. She‘s always very encouraging.

2- I am absolutely tickled reading about Nancy Drew's first meetings with Ned Nickerson 💘
3- My hubby and I have made some really good salads this week 😋
4- Our white lilac is blooming like crazy 🌸
5- I've rediscovered mini M&Ms and they've been helping me through my afternoons at work

* Visited my junior high friend in Massachusetts. So fun.
* We went to the Smith College Botanical Garden on a brilliantly blue sky day.
* The Gardens featured plaques throughout about Sylvia Plath and her time at Smith.
* Saw a cactus with white hair that looked like a mythical creature (see photo above).
* Visited a terrific bookstore & bought several books (of course).
* foliage was all budding and greening. Not like Vermont.

2. The Morgan Library in NYC for offering virtual docent conversations regarding exhibits. Today‘s was about the Beatrix Potter exhibit
3. Finding a big stack of books for me on the library‘s hold shelf
4. Listening to the birds every morning as they chatter in my backyard
5. Practicing a nightly sleep meditation

1) daughter moved back home from college
2) son‘s rocket ship has been assembled and awaiting finishing touches to take off in White Sands, NM next month
3) son got awards in senior awards ceremony today for grades and for guitar 🎸
4) cuddles from my kitty 🐈‍⬛ during reading time
5) starting a new #foodandlit country: Spain! 🇪🇸

🌼 William as always and that his stress test was negative 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹
🌼 my beautiful girls and grands! 🩷💙
🌼 my purple iris 💜 and the smell of rain ☔️
🌼 spending time with Tux on the porch and happy that he likes his new cat tower!
🌼 I made it through the computer system at work and that I still have a job!
