I‘ve been in a reading slump over the last few weeks. Between the start of school for 3 of 4 members of my family, the new schedule which is hard on this night owl and some challenges at work, I haven‘t had a really great book to escape into. This #audiobook hold came through and since I was lucky enough to get an #ARC at #ALAAC18 I‘m going to dig in. 🤞🏾

Finally getting around to shelving my #alaac18 #bookhaul and #ARCs. I forgot which books I had so it was like unwrapping presents 😂 I‘ll tag all of the books in the comments.

I organized my ARCs from #alaac18 today, and I appear to be booked through early November. Pun intended. Lots of things I am excited to read and share!

Tracy Kyle signing my boys‘ book at #alaac18! She was very sweet. This book is perfect for preschoolers. It‘s bright and colorful and incorporates Spanish words and phrases in a fun and natural way. My pronunciation was put to the test (I‘ve always had problems with learning/speaking Spanish ☹️). Thankfully my guys are forgiving.

My #bookhaul box that I mailed myself from the library conference arrived today. I picked up these 2 beautiful books for the boys. Grandad Mandela (autographed by the illustrator) is a bit too old for them but I look forward to reading it to/with them soon.
