A marvelous love letter to the transformative & healing powers of food and music, this captured me. Lots of POV switching, but all the characters are deliciously complicated. The ending felt a bit too neat. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

I enjoyed this fun little Christmas rom com - a small town girl finds the love she had all along. So atmospheric! I could feel the chill of the planet & Sena‘s desperation to escape. The world building was great, and Sena was a complicated and intriguing character. A bit slow to start, but really finds its pace 1/2 through. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

Goddamn. I would find my favorite read of the year in the last 2 weeks of 2021. Action packed, a complicated lead, intriguing side characters, twists and turns (only 1 I predicted), and above all, the enduring humanity of storytelling. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

This was a charming listen. It really felt like sitting down for a cup of coffee with a friend. His intelligence and humor are easy to see, & he seems like a genuinely decent person. The timeline jumps around a bit & he name drops like there‘s no tomorrow. 😂 I‘ve learned I actually want a collection of nonfiction 2020 lockdown stories. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

On the way to ice skate on the frozen lake in the woods, four kids come across a single car crash with an unconscious Santa Claus thrown from the car. His car is full of gifts. Even though it‘s billed as a mystery, it‘s not really. It‘s more about the kids saving the man and discovering why he was dressed as Santa and why his car was filled with toys. The story is so-so. The cover is gorgeous! I read it over the weekend but forgot to post it.
