pickAtwood is a stunning writer but her poetry is through the roof insane!!!! Such wonderful observations that manage to traverse the personal and public spheres so effortlessly. Favourite poem was ‘Gasoline‘ - amazing last stanza!!!!!
pickI read this Jan 20-26 and gave it 4 ⭐️. It certainly has made me want to read more of Atwood‘s poetry. This book is almost 50 years old but it reads as if it was written yesterday. It‘s language is very concise, simple and powerful.
