A soft Pick, because I did finish this book very quickly for an audiobook, and the story was fine. However, I'm more of a full-cast dramatization person these days, at least where Doctor Who is concerned, and there were some script-like scenes that would have benefitted from having multiple narrators.

I was listening to Disc 4 (of 5) this morning while audio puzzling and found the story had become extremely non-linear. « Ugh this is so weird, » I thought, « but OK, this is a choice. » I then realized I was playing that disc on shuffle ?

Eh, not my favorite but not terrible. It doesn't help that Clara is probably my least favorite companion, and this book does her no favors really. The story was imaginative enough. 11's personality was written well enough. But I didn't feel invested in the story at all.

RamsFan1963 I was never a big Clara fan. I didn't care for her with the 11th Doctor (but to be fair I was morning the loss of Amy & Rory) and I though she had no chemistry with the 12th. 3y

My hometown library switched from Overdrive to CloudLibrary for their ebooks. So far, kind of meh, but I did find a Doctor Who book I hadn‘t seen before, so I guess there‘s that.

candority I prefer CloudLibrary! It‘s compatible with my Kobo, unlike Overdrive. Did your library‘s collection decrease with the switch though? 5y
