Saturday morning reading in bed to finish this. Please note the death tower in the background - all unread, not causing me any stress. I wanted to love this book and there are parts that I did, the magic, the sisterhood but the miscommunication went on too long and then wrapped up too fast and the bad guys weren‘t as awful as presented and all I know is it took way too long to finish it when I should have inhaled it 🤷🏻♀️maybe it‘s me

I think I found this as a suggested title on a list of books about AI characters. I found this to be a quick and light read about an interplanetary courier who trains baby AIs on the side. The stakes are kind of high but the vibe leaned more to the cozy side. I did feel like it ended abruptly but was still good.

Emma, trying to save her vineyards, hosts a wine and food tasting party for wealthy potential clients. Instead she finds a dead body in the cave after the event. Turns out he was murdered. Her vineyard is taking the heat in media, so she searches out the murderer to get back on an even keel. It doesn‘t hurt that the lead detective is hot.

This was fun. I love the setting and it was interesting to hear about Merry‘s old life coming to Rudolph.

Lucy lives in the quintessential NE town and works at her mom‘s cozy coffee shop, but has attitude about pumpkin spice lattes, which her shop doesn‘t serve. She‘s caught the attention of Jack, the new boy in town. But when Lucy finds out that Jack‘s parents own a national chain of coffee shops, the one responsible for the PSL craze, and their newest location is across the street from her coffee place, it‘s game on!

Another great installment in the Domestic Diva Cozy Mystery Series. I enjoy Krista Davis' books so much.
