This was a bit different in the “Hannah finds another dead body” series. Still loved spending time in Lake Eden.

I did not realise this was a series- can totally go in blind though and easily “catch up“. I was intrigued by the cover at the Lib & this is a case where maybe I could've been more discerning. I didn't really feel like the characters made life like choices, particularly Rarity. I also felt the attention to her dog was odd, out of place. Plus the narration annoyed me haha
Book 4 in the Agatha Raisin series (#SeriesLive2024) was another hoot. Agatha is up to her old antics again, but there is substantial movement in her relationship with James. On to the next…

*This looks like a good cozy mystery.
* Anytime anyone from Ireland visits me this is the candy I ask for. When my sister came in May, she brought so much candy and between my daughters and I it is all gone.
This one is first in a series (A Domestic Diva Mystery), set in November/Thanksgiving time & the audiobook is free with Audible Originals so it will be my #SeasonalCozies pick for November. 🦃🍂
Finished another read. I can appreciate this story, and it was actually a surprise and clever ending, but a bit too slow at the start, for me, to truly draw me in.
I‘m in a cozy mystery mood. A young Cuban American mother reluctantly moves to the affluent Miami suburbs to be closer to her in laws. And you guessed it - gets tangled in a murder investigation. What I enjoyed was the peak into Cuban American culture and food.

Currently reading the first 4 books. Finished the last 3.
This was a cute, fun read. Enjoyed the blend of mystery and romance. The romance didn‘t overpower the mystery and the diverse cast of characters were all fully three dimensional and interesting. Although it was a mystery and there were some serious elements in it, it was also cheerful and uplifting. Really liked it.
