This is my nighttime book, but I wanted something lighter than Possession, so I listened to it instead. I picked it up because Brooklyn Wainwright, from her own series (which I also listen to) appears at the beginning and evaluates a book for Lindsey. I walked outside; it didn‘t rain, but when I was going home, it started to lightning. #audiowalk

i am cautiously optimistic about 2 things- my HrT is working since i finished a book and started another- thanks to #hyggehourreadathpn. 2 that Kamala will be our next president 🎉🎉🎉🎉 This series continues to entertain- not perfect but just right. I enjoy the mystery although there are actions in the book that can be redundant.

I really wanted to like this month's #SeasonalCozies book, but ended up bailing on it. The main storyline was interesting, but there were too many other subplots that didn't seem to make sense with the main storyline. Hoping for a better pick for August!

Prairiegirl_reading When I first about heard about this book I immediately went to buy it. And I may have read about 5 pages, maybe. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 13h
Mollyanna This was a so-so read for me. Probably should have bailed… I remember very little about it. #hailthebail 12h

Sunday morning #buddyread time, plus a #libraryfind. I love this mug, “Read and grow”. It‘s just me, my porch, a soft breeze at 69 degrees, birds, & books. Totally content. #sundaybuddyread #adventuresinphilosophy #HighlandBookshopMysteries

I read this cozy mystery for cat book club, so of course it prominently features a cat: Agatha C Christie, official bookstore cat at the Book Chalet run by the Christie sisters, Ellie and Meg. While they are not related to the real Agatha Christie, they are avid mystery readers who can't help but search for clues when a stranger interrupts their book club seance only to turn up murdered. A book lover's book with lots of references to baked goods.
