Unfortunately, it cannot be said that #historyneverrepeats as we continually witness the ghettoization of proletarian immigrants in western cities. The gentrification of these neighbourhoods once again displaces these groups, pushing them further towards the edges of the middle-class psyche.

I think this one works for two March Photo prompts @maich #marchinbooks #currentlyreading. I am throughly enjoying these novellas. Three down one to go. Because they are historical romances I‘m also thinking #historyneverrepeats prompt for @Cinfhen and @Lizpixie #marchintooz.

According to the blurb, the story takes place in the West that has turned wild again after the Second Civil War. Since “#HistoryNeverRepeats—except it does” is an idea I keep seeing today, I‘m going to go ahead and use this book for #MarchIntoOz. 😉

#historyneverrepeats if you go back in time to change it, as we learn in this amazing novel. Jake thinks he is changing history for the better by traveling back in time to prevent JFK's assassination... But what future chain-of-events will be affected by that one action, and are they for better or worse?
