Freespirit I just scanned the list and even though I read constantly I have read very few😬 I have read far more from the 1800's....love the classics❤️ @EadieB 4y

Buechersuechtling Ich kenn bisher nur „Was vom Tage übrig blieb“. Erst als Film (vor Jahren) und dann vor einigen Monaten als Hörbuch. Das mochte ich sehr, war mir aber nicht sicher, ob ich es als Buch genauso gern gelesen hätte wie ich es gehört habe. The Remains of the Day | Kazuo Ishiguro

I was lucky enough to meet Kazuo Ishiguro yesterday at UEAs first Literary Festival event of the season! He kindly signed my beautiful Folio Society edition of The Remains of the Day, which is now pride of place on my bookshelf.
(Side note, I managed to play it cool in front of him, but had a mini break down afterwards 😭) #kazuoishiguro
