A few oopses:
First, I meant to post this yesterday and forgot. So, how‘s everyone doing on the #MountTBRchallenge? How many books chipped off that mountain to date this year? If you‘re on a book buying ban or have a book buying limit/reward in exchange for TBR books read, have you been able to stick to it?
Me, I‘ve now finished 13 TBRs of 16 total YTD.
2ndly, I basically utterly failed to hold completely from my book buying ban: 6 new books

AnneCecilie You're doing great. I haven't finished any books yet this month, in the middle of 2, so still 8 tbr out of 16 read books. April is a new book buying ban month, but so far it's easier than in January 7y

Laughterhp I‘ve only read 6! Participating in #FreakyFriday has delayed my progress! However, next month I‘ll get back to reading off my shelves! I think I‘ve only bought 4 or 5 books this year so far, which is good for me! 😊 7y
Velvetfur I'm currently on number 4 of #MountTBRChallenge, but I've been distracted by reading 2 from #LitsyPassportChallenge and 2 from #LitsyReadingChallenge (the 'bingo' one!) and I'm also currently on a 3rd from that one too. So, soon it'll be 10 books read so far this year, which is more than I read in the whole of last year! 7y
Velvetfur Oh and I got a book from the library too which wasn't in any of the 3 challenges so it will soon be 11 this year, not 10 😂 Well done on your progress as well! 👍 7y
DivaDiane @Velvetfur You could probably count the other challenge Books toward #MountTBR, depending on when you bought them. “Overdue” or renewed library books can count too. It‘s up to you. 😊That‘s wonderful that you‘ve read so much already this year no matter which way you look at it 7y
Ash.on.the.line I‘m around 60 so far! I have plenty more though lol! I have bought books but I‘ve read more than I bought which is what I want! 😁 7y
ju.ca.no 20 MTBR books so far :) I did buy a few new books, but so far it‘s been a managable amount😊 7y

Cailey_Mac I haven‘t put myself on a book buying ban (hahahahaha I know I would instantly break it) but so far this year I‘ve read about 5 books that have been on my radar for quite some time, and hopefully I‘ll be able to wrap up the Lunar series soon so I can start either the Grisha series or An Ember in the Ashes! 7y
Smarkies I have slowed down a little since I now have book club books I need to get through first. But YTD, I have done 10 books. I have bought books but bought a whole lot less than what I technically would have bought previously. 😂😂 7y
mrp27 I'm proud of myself! I just completed a book today and that brings me to 5 books. If I keep on track I should meet my goal. 7y
SleepyDragon I've read 8 TBR out of 9 books YTD, but I unfortunately stumbled backwards a bit and bought a couple books at Dollar Tree. Also, I'm going to have to cheat on my TBR again (and with another political book - no less!) because my mom loaned me a book when she was visiting and will eventually expect it back. The last few weeks have been a setback, of sorts. Also, been too busy to have much reading time. 😕 7y
