Still pretty proud of what I‘ve read this year! My goal was 50 books, but hey life got in the way. For 2026, I still want to set a tentative 50 book goal, but I‘m also considering setting a page goal for the year too of 20,000! I have some chunky books I really want to read this year, so I‘m thinking that‘ll help motivate me to read them ☺️📚

Okay so Quicksilver is so much fun! I‘m not a fan of the romance but I like the world and plot so far

I was waiting for my significant other to come back from a work site visit, so naturally I sat at the bar of his building and decided to read. Then I also decided to try one of their seasonal drinks, and that turned into one more after that😅 needless to say, I remember why I don‘t like to drink

Reading during my breaks at work- I‘m slightly worried that book one is cruising through the test and school time, makes me wonder what else will fill this 500 page book up🤔

My next reads for now! I think our severe thunderstorms today is putting me in the mood😅

Also a little haul from BN yesterday- the bogo half off got me, and I was really in the mood for some cozy murder mysteries; unfortunately the usual bookcase full of them is down to one single shelf tucked away 😕 but I was still able to find 2!

Since I‘m home healing from minor surgery, I decided to try to go through my books and purge what I was no longer interested in, and replace them with some I had in storage- I‘m making progress and I just have the 2 bottom shelves to do tomorrow😌📚

I got a new bookcase (with doors!) last night so trying to figure out how I wanted my books on it was top priority; I do have to say that doing that while sick felt like doing a puzzle 😅

I‘m slowly but surely cozy-fying my cubicle at work! I‘ve opted for this rechargeable bird lamp as opposed to us getting the overhead lights brightened- and next week I have a few organizational things coming to help with my cabinets. I already feel so much more peaceful at work, and when I can listen to my audiobooks I‘m truly enjoying it now☺️📖

I‘m liking Iron Flame but it‘s like also oddly dragging at the same time? I‘m not even halfway and it feels like I‘ve read 600 pages already

Continuing my cowboy romance today with my romance bookmark🫶🏼📚 this book got me through a whole day waiting for my cat to come out of his leg surgery 2 Saturdays ago, and I‘m forever thankful for the distraction it provided💙 also kitty is doing great and is officially free of his cone as of today!

Here we go; after spending a month doing the tandem read, we‘re at the end of the road for Throne of Glass. So far I think I‘m loving this more than ACOTAR, but I‘m not sure; I‘m a sucker for the characters in these books and I want them all to have a happy ending 🥲

Paused my TOG for tonight to read this cute comic (manga?) Lunar New Year Love Story! It‘s actually must darker than I thought it was going to be but I‘m invested ❤️

Went to the midnight release party for HOFAS- was soo worth it! I went alone but I‘m glad for the experience and the fun, since I‘ve never been to a midnight release even after living through HP and Twilight📖🫶🏼

I‘m on the very last story of The Assassin‘s Blade novella; I‘ve heard I‘m about to have my heart ripped out. Even though I know how it ends, I‘m not sure reading the details will be enjoyable 🥲

Halfway through- I forgot some parts. This weekend I‘m slated to finish this, the novella, and hopefully get a good start on book 4! #togreread #tog

I‘ve read Kingdom of the Wicked book one and Heartstopper Volume 5 after finishing Throne of Glass, but we‘re back on! Already 40 pages in and I swear this is one of my favorites of the series☺️🫶🏼
