A complex #LoveHatePairing of Elphaba and Glinda. Loved being able to take my older granddaughters to see Wicked on Broadway when each was a Senior in high school. Loved Part One of the movie version, too. May never read the book, though.

Hart & Mercy are a great example of a #LoveHatePairing in this favorite romantasy book that has a definite You‘ve Got Mail vibe. 💌
In Ovid's "Metamorphoses," love and hate are deeply intertwined with the central theme of transformation. The plays A Midsummer Night's Dream (Pyramus&Thisbe)
and Romeo and Juliet (based on Metamorphoses) are more similar than they appear. Both, written at the same time, deal with forbidden romance and power and control. One play having a comedic end, while the other ends in tragedy, are partly the same tale with a different outcome.

#FeelinTheLove Day 16: Quite the #LoveHatePairing with this #ToB25 title with Phoebe‘s cheating ex-hubby. I can see this being made into a series. Set against the desert last night as husband and I watched a Chinese concert pianist and Chinese dancers perform with the Jebel Hafeet Mountain (UNESCO heritage site) as the backdrop. Perfect post Valentine and CNY celebration. A good open-air wedding venue too. My sky cashmere shawl matches book cover.
