Anxious People: A Novel | Fredrik Backman

I didn't love this one the way I did Beartown, the only other Backman I've read. However, I really liked how the characters' lives were all intertwined and the idea that one person's actions can have such a great effect on others.

What a phenomenal book! Circe‘s story is retold at the same ‘relentless‘ pace of human life that she admires so much. The writing is delicious! I especially love that of many of Circe‘s struggles, motherhood tops the list. Goddess or not, being a mother is a special kinda test.
