book buying ban accountability post
Why?
1)I keep buying physical books & have no real time to read them because I have a small baby
2)I need money (again, baby)
3)I have so many kindle books from either stuff your kindle days or prime reading first look
4)I some how preordered 3 books that come out June 10
5)my libby loans & holds are completely full & I need to not be distracted from those too
💰Goal: no book hauls until 7/29

5feet.of.fury @Ruthiella I usually pull a stack of books & watch it dwindle down but the amount of reading I‘ve been doing has varied so much month to month I figured a time limit was easier. What‘s your system? 2w
Ruthiella @5feet.of.fury I‘m trying to allow two books in for every physical book from my shelves. If I do challenges like #Roll100 or #OffMyShelf I try to complete them with mostly owned books. Instead of watching a pile dwindle, I‘m keeping the pile of finished books, watching it get higher. 2w
K.Wielechowski Good luck! I did a 3 month book buy ban January-March of this year. Didn‘t do too terribly but the number of books I bought in April kind of made the ban pointless 😅 2w
