Thank you so much for this (not so) little box of #naughtylistholidayswap treasures, @KT1432 ! I haven‘t read any of these authors before, so I‘m especially excited about the opportunity to discover some new favorites!

Another warm, cozy, and welcoming series of cute cafe adventures. These charming comics look at many topics, from dealing with anxiety disorders to being autistic to just being yourself. Perfect for anyone looking for affirmations or seeking to understand themselves and others. A great reset from a stressful day. #Comics #Neurodiversity

I kept putting off this book because it was chonky looking and I didn't want chonky. It's actually very accessible and quick to read. There's lots of white space, big text, and different formatting.
I was recommended this book because I was looking for practical tips and guidance. This book offers that but more importantly it includes the why, which is something a lot of books miss out.

Up next…excited for a thriller/mystery after a slog!

I've already been posting quite a bit about this book and how much it got to me. I wonder what would've been if I had read this before my diagnosis. I think I can't thank Fern Brady enough for her honesty, for being open and vulnerable. Most people still don't really know what Autism is and how autistics feel and think and react. Here we get the whole thing.

I finished all my work tasks so it‘s time for some enjoyment: comfy couch, weighted blanket, soft music, #immersionreading — 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

At 89% and I had to pause - again - or I might would've started to cry. I mean, I did read about about shutdowns and autistic burnouts, but hearing her talking about them that openly? That hits differentky, again. I'm the one who goes nonverbal and got in trouble for that not only as a child, but also as a grown-up. Finally I know, why this happens. I think I need to feed my ADHD side for a while before continuing this.

Just had to pause the audiobook, because Fern threw me back into my own childhood. What she tells us about her childhood friend was basically the same thing I experienced. I already related to a lot of things she wrote about in the last hour, but this scene just really, really got me ❤️🩹

I continue with my late book reviews but this help me to keep track of what I read in 2025 in GR. readers habits😂
I really liked this book. In some way reminded me Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine. In this case I saw Sally as a woman with a neurocognitive condition (functional diversity) and how hard could be to adapt herself to a typical world. Family secrets, manipulation and even abuse. That‘s how I saw that family behavior (no spoiler)⬇️
