Thanks to @BennettBookworm and @ChaoticMissAdventures I‘ve made my list for #10BeforetheEnd and I‘m so excited! Really, it‘s the act of list-making that gives me this boost of confidence, like just by committing them to paper I‘m *almost* finished reading these 10 books already. 😋 Six are for book clubs taking place at my bookstore, so I‘d better get on that! I made a TBR video for 10 before the end (with bonus Xmas Crime TBR) if anybody fancies it

This was very disappointing, I did not enjoy it at all and I was expecting this to be a highly rated book for me.

I can see why people enjoyed it but I didn't take to it at all, it took far too long to get interesting, I didn't like the writing style, and a lot of it was pretentious twaddle.

Let‘s try this again…I started this one in May and had to put it down. With end of school and graduation for my oldest, I didn‘t have the headspace for it. But, I love this author, so here we go again! It‘s my May #doublespin pick.

My first #10BeforeTheEnd update:
I finished Edith Wharton's Ghost Stories 🎉. They were quite enjoyable in small doses: 1 or 2 in the evening over the course of a month.
I picked up The Adventure of Vela again. I'd like to finish it before the end of the month, but it is slow-going & I might not get a lot of reading time next week, so we'll see.
I'd also like to read the whole of Jami's Mejnun & Leila before Nov, 8th ⬇
