I really enjoyed this story. The writing was great, and I really like the main character. Look forward to reading the rest of the series.

I didn‘t have a lot of reading time this week so I didn‘t get to reach my thirty-six hour goal. Made it to almost nineteen hours.

I got a couple more hours of reading done last night to finish Odd Thomas.

Bringing back an author I used to read with the Odd Thomas series. This is book 2. I adored book 1, but this one was flat for me. I think this is a transition book, so I will read the next. I had difficulty buying into this story and the ghosts that populated the first were largely absent. This was a different crime to solve with another psycho, but I found it tedious.

Supernatural meets mystery in this first book in the Odd Thomas series. A quirky, likable guy, Odd sees the dead. They don't speak, but they do communicate with him. It's this "gift" that allows him to track a murderer and attempt to foil his plans. Full of humor, love, and a little bit scary, this is a good read.
