This was so good until literally the last page and a half or so. Leigh & company had been on some really intriguing journeys/growth narratives, and the ending cheapened those experiences, imo. #yascifi
Alas, I have now read the last of the series 🥲(at least as far as internet bibliographic records and my library suggests), though I'll have to see if the Waffles and Pancake spinoff is available. 🤔 I appreciate that old tropes have more cuddly finishes: Al running the ship just needs to stretch their legs/have a vacation; the space race would turn out better if resources were pooled, old animosities set aside, and common interests identified.
