The 9th book in the series with Patrick and Erica set I'm Sweden. This is quite disturbing to be honest, quite a few TW. I deals with two cases one present day and the other from a few decades ago. Both are death of a young child. It was certainly gripping and tense and some of the endings I did guess.
I am currently reading these three books, still ploughing through Tove Ditlevsen book.

A girl who went missing 4 months ago, walks out of the woods and is hit by a car. She has been subjected to brutal treatment during her captivity and there are also 3 other girls who are still missing. Erica is writing a book and is in contact with a woman in jail who has a link to Patrik's case of missing girls.
Honestly this is a weak pick, a very weak one. I think this is her longest book in this series and I don‘t think I needed all of those pages.
We follow a timeline in 1671/2 during the witch prosecutions. And 30 yr old case and the present day where Tanumshede police gets a case with a dead child found in the same place as the older case.
The book looks into Sweden‘s immigration policy and racism.

This week has been a great reading week. I finished The Ice Child, read The Garbage King and the tagged book
The chapter a day read of Mansfield Park also ended this week.
I continued my chapter a day read of Anne‘s House of Dreams and the buddy read of Backlash.
A little late for #NordicNoir, but I finally got around to read the 9th book about Erica Falck and Patrik Hedström. This time a young girl gets hit by a car and dies, but before this she has been missing for several months. Where has she been in the meantime? And what about the other girls gone missing across the country?
This book felt less drawn out than some of her others, even if I get a little tired of always being told how difficult it
I am posting a book every day from my TBR collection.
