She's great, not just at singing/making music but also as a writer, a chronicler and making sense of stuff.
I was a late comer to EBTG in the 90s so this was good to understand her, and their, beginnings and journey.

I paused Penguin Parade 1 when we went on hols as it's a bit too fragile to carry, but I'm reading it again, and have added n⁰3 to n⁰2 on the TBR.
Berserker is another 60s/70s SF take on war for me to compare to The Forever War. Looks like a fix up novel from individual short stories.
The Goshawk has been on my radar a long time: now it's on Mount TBR!

George Melly was a TV mainstay when I was growing up: an eccentric jazz singer, raconteur, art critic and social commentator, he always seemed like he would be great fun to know, but possibly difficult to live with. I had that "Ahh!" moment when I saw this. And what a fantastic Beatles cover by Peter Blake ?

Bookwomble ... interesting to compare this to the modern book I read on the topic earlier this year.
[If I read any of these this year, I'll surprise myself! 📚🧗🏻‍♂️]

Only 31/100 albums make my list. Most of that comes from the 60's, 70's and 80s, I'm not even sure who some of the later groups and artists were. I would have added a couple more Bowie albums and Night at the Opera by Queen on the list also.
Thank you for the tag @dabbe #ThreeListThursday

dabbe I think only 1 Bowie made the list. 😱 And where was Queen? And more Led Zepp? I've got tons of new albums now to listen to! 🤩😂😀 7mo

The first of many Beatles books I‘m going to be tackling this year ✨ heard really good things about this one from uber fans of the band and I like that it has an emphasis on not just the band but what was going on in the sixties at the time and how the two impacted each other.

LaraS Ooo looks interesting. This Boy was recently recommended to me too, I might just have to read a Beatles double header next year 13mo
