My blind date with a book revealed! I‘ve heard great things about Brom but never read any of his books. THIS COVER!!! 😍🤩

This was one of my earliest cassette tapes. It came about after the success of his recording of The Itsy Bitsy Spider for an AIDS benefit album. This collection is not readily available these days, but I was able to find a copy to download, and what a blast from the past! 😆

There was a very humorous diary entry by a high school girl named Pam in this Beatles book I‘m currently reading, as the book continued we circle back to “Pam” and it‘s revealed it‘s no other then Pamela Des Barres. I immediately jumped online to find her book 🌼 what a great cover right?

I really enjoyed this humorous, grotesque horror-possession story. A mix of punk culture, Jewish folklore, roadtrip and personal growth - all with a lot of really creepy imagery (including some of Brom‘s gorgeous artwork). I am a big fan of Brom‘s unique horror voice. 4.5⭐️

This little hourly history book isn‘t in the system so I‘m only writing a blurb. I‘m trying to get my history fix in with these quick reads once a week. This week I chose Janis & decided to take inspiration from @jdiehr & do my review haiku style.

These little bios are great for a quick overview of the pertinent facts. 4⭐️

The official video is a neat animated effort. Look at the suggested videos for an awesome live version from The Tube, in which Iggy correctly declares, "I am the fucking greatest of all time!"
I love this edgy '80s album. It has an End Times vibe.
