The Poe Museum in Richmond, VA has two black cats that reside on the property, named Edgar and Pluto (Pluto is the name of the cat in his short story The Black Cat). I was able to get a picture of Edgar enjoying the beautiful fall day in the gardens. #Scaratlon #TeamStoker #ChillingPhotoChallenge Day 4: Black Cat (+1 pt earned)
One of Edgar Allan Poe‘s biggest fears was being buried alive, which is probably wrote so many stories where this was a theme. At the Poe Museum in Richmond, VA they have a coffin you can step into in order to get a sense of what it may have felt like to wake up in a coffin after being mistaken for dead. Of course I had to experience it myself.
