Dragged on a bit but made me want to pull out my middle school journals and look back … but definitely not go back … to that long ago time 🫣

Walter Isaacson is a fantastic writer. He can make reading about an unlikable human an easy, smooth, and informative experience. He can‘t make me like the dude though.

This took way longer to read than it should have. Disappointing read until last 50-ish pages. Don‘t think I‘ll be reading the rest of the series unless I hear some REALLY great things about it from y‘all 🫤

Saw him being interviewed a year ago and was intrigued by what he had to say. His book…. Not so much. Was a tad disappointed. Expected more.

I really like Bob Woodward‘s style of writing.
He couldn‘t have said it better: “The failure to organize. The lack of discipline. The undermining or the attempted undermining of so many American institutions. The unwillingness to acknowledge error. When his performance as president is taken in its entirety, I can only reach one conclusion: Trump is the wrong man for the job.”

Insomnia worked in my favor last night and finished this interesting, chapter-less book. 📖
