Unfortunately I didn‘t get to read nearly as much as I wanted this month! However, I had SO much fun participating in #Scarathlon on behalf of #TeamSlaughter . Here are my results for the #ScaryScavengerHunt 🖤
A snapshot of my October. In #Scarathlon #TeamSlaughter I read 28 books: 7 audiobooks, 1 ebook, 1 Graphic Novel & 19 full length novels. 17 were female authors, 11 by men. I also watched 27 horror movies, participated in so many games, managed 28 of the #ChillingPhotoChallenge prompts & got all 13 of the #ScaryScavengerHunt & ended with 2,178points! I want to say ThankYou! To our hosts, I had a blast & cant wait for next year!🎃

pickThis is a quick and simple collection of really short horror stories. This reminds me of the campfire stories they used to show on Are You Afraid of the Dark. For something easy and a little on the corny side sometimes, this wasn't too bad

I've never really read a "bad" version of Dracula. For am illustrated version, this was ok. I can see this being something that would get a younger audience into the classics .

It is Halloween night and the boys are ready to go out but where is Pippin? He is at the scary house and they must go on a journey through Halloween traditions to get him back!

pickGreat book!! I didn‘t love the ending, but I enjoyed the read thoroughly... even when my heart was pounding like crazy.
I also finished the #ScaryScavengerHunt just in time! A book #thatscaresyou was last on my list and this one definitely delivered! 😱
