3 stories by Patterson, which I enjoyed.
Long book with quite a variety of stories short and long. Some are better than others and some are a bit odd. Mostly really good. Many have a Southern locale and somewhat autobiographical. One is about Dachau camp and the last is in Jerusalem. Worthwhile.
The elderly, intrepid, sly, devious, & mastermind of justified murder, Maud (of the book An Elderly Lady is Up to No Good)returns in a short story, “An Elderly Lady Seeks Peace at Christmastime.”
I just So enjoyed visiting her at Christmastime. #sohocrimechristmascapers #shortstorycollection

Started a book I have owned for a few years which will take a while!
I just released my short story collection of fairytale retellings! Right now it‘s free to my email subscribers for anyone interested in checking it out. You can get it here: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/7voymz8uzy #fairytaleretellings #fantasybooks #shortstorycollection
This is a brilliant collection. Juliet Jacques gives a potted history of the experience of trans people in the UK and Ireland through short stories set across over a century, from the Victorian era to the present day. I really enjoyed the different forms and styles of the stories, ranging from a series of letters in 1939 to a blog set in 2014. Highly recommend this.
#ReadHarder challenge 23: a book of short stories
I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!
