so-soCute queer romance. Shallow story retelling The Legend of Sleepy Hollow but with real magic and ghosts. Normally YA queer romance graphic novel retelling on a Halloween theme would be my EXACT cup of tea, but I just didn‘t find this compelling. The villain was really over the top.

My July #DoubleSpin Learned more about the legend of Sleepy Hollow🤓📚I liked it but for some reason was a bit underwhelmed with this one. Likely just my mood tbh. A great series & I will carry onto the next one😏❤️🔥
panMeh. This was ok. The writing style was ok. It was a good love story. I just wasn‘t in it for a love story, I wanted creepy. It wasn‘t what I wanted it to be.

This book would be a great book to read around Halloween time with older students. I think it would be a fun writing activity to have students create their own spooky legend or spooky tale.
