This one had a mood, a good story line and a confusing timelines (in terms of seasonal descriptions), though I know it is meant to be set over a summer. The characters felt unapproachable like watching a movie more than reading a book, keeping me at arm's length. I'd think something sounded out of character when I'd remind myself, I didn't have a sense of who they were or what they thought.

#MWS part 2 the tea lights smell SO GOOD!! I already used the Divination candle before a meeting today while working from home and it went really well! The spices and herbs?! Smell DELICIOUS!! I am using them when I make soup this week for sure! And the bath soak I can just smell the relaxing chamomile. I will be taking a nice bath tonight as it was a long night of trick or treating lol. A great beginners guide. Not a huge fan of the outdated use of “codependent” or that healing comes from forgiveness, but it I do like the emphasis on letting go of shame. My only real question is how do people keep all of this information in their heads at once? This is definitely a work in progress for me. The box set is great. It‘s nice having a good set to go along with the book.

AnnCrystal @GingerAntics I've read that some cards are more difficult than others. If you can't get them to shuffle easier, perhaps try the Overhand Card Shuffle or The Wash Shuffle Table Card Mixing method. 💝💝💝. 3mo

GingerAntics @AnnCrystal I‘ve tried shuffling 2 of my three decks, and so far one is definitely easier than the other. I don‘t shuffle cards often, so I probably just need to practice it. I‘ve watched a ridiculous number of YouTube videos on different ways to shuffle cards in the last two days. lol 3mo

GingerAntics @AnnCrystal okay, so I just tried shuffling my third deck for the first time. It shuffles the easiest, but the deck is a little bigger than the other two decks, so I have a harder time controlling them. It‘s still a work in progress. 🤣 3mo

GingerAntics @AnnCrystal soooooo… a weird thing happened. I tried to do a reading. I asked the deck an open ended question like it said. It kinda worked, just not as expected. For 2 of the 3 cards I pulled, I looked up their meanings, but started reading the wrong thing, but the thing I read was more of an answer and jived better with my question. lol maybe I should just flip through the book as a deck. lol 3mo

There is a method of using the book, any book, for intuition readings...the method is called Bibliomancy. I would believe that a tarot guide would make a perfect book for Bibliomancy.

For a Bibliomancy reading, simply find a comfortable place with a book of your choice. Maybe try Meditation to focus your intuition. Ask your question, close your eyes, and open the book to a random page.

Some say that in tarot, you must consider all peculiarities as part of a reading.

A card flys out during shuffling.

A card or two accidentally left where you keep your cards between readings.

Again, you must be the one to decide if these events truly mean something for you.

Most cards come with a guide about what the cards mean in the deck you have chosen. These guides need t be learned, but understood as starting points as you achieve deeper understandings with time.

Learn the meanings.

In every deck, there are symbols in the artwork of each & every card that will not be explained. These symbols must be read by your intuition. 3mo

AnnCrystal @GingerAntics 💝🫂💝 the easiest way is to begin simply. @JenlovesJT47 and @lil1inblue often post about one card Readings. That is probably the best way to begin (and even continue) as you learn to build your understanding.

It is said that the cards know how to speak to the person reading them. Just have patience.

The only rule is to listen to your own intuition.
Some people even remove cards they don't want. Don't worry about making mistakes. 3mo

I meant to order the box set… but ended up with just the book. Then getting the box set was still the most cost effective way to get the cards… so the box set will be here Monday. I‘m reading the book already, though.
