We have just had over 12 hours of thunder cells and super cells here. Youngest daughter woke at 2.30am and hasn‘t been back asleep. Eldest woke at 4.30 and hasn‘t been back asleep. Son child was up for most of it. Is parents dozed in and out when it wasn‘t over our heads. All I want to do today is rest! So we cancelled any appointment that couldn‘t be a phone consult and that‘s what we are doing.

Darklunarose @Gabbymags123 I‘m glad we are on the other end of it now…I love thunderstorms but this was intense. We are on a hill but there were a few places that had flooding in Adelaide yesterday. 5mo

Darklunarose @Texreader they usually love it! But after the huge storm last year that took the power out for 36 hours littlest isn‘t so fond now. The big ones (all adults but still) just were awake with the noise. My eldest loves watching it. She is the one who got the photo. I swear if she had a good camera she would be one of those weather chasers looking for photos. 5mo

Texreader @Darklunarose That‘s good to hear. I was terrified of storms as a kid. Now I just panic because we get giant hailstones here and once a baseball/grapefruit sized hailstone came straight through our living room window. We were cleaning up glass for ages and it was cold and hard to get the window replaced because everyone lost windows. Repairmen were tied up for days. So ugh. 5mo

Darklunarose @Texreader that‘s not what you want. And glass is do dangerous when it‘s little bits floating around! You would worry at every severe thunderstorm warning! Good for the repair guys, bad for the home owners. 5mo

Sweet. Garlic finds herself grappling with a big change - she may be turning human! - and on an adventure with her friend the Count.
The first resonated more for me. This one felt a little more on-the-nose about puberty.

As so many people have said before me, this book was so freaking CUTE, if not cuter than the first. This duology is the most adorable series about believing in yourself, embracing change, and being open to adventure. It's a super quick read and I HIGHLY recommend it!

If you're looking for a dark, witchy sci-fi fantasy centering a strong female protagonist, this might be a pick for you! I enjoyed it but I didn't love it. A few things didn't work for me, especially every characters' insistence that words without set meaning definitely have this one specific random interpretation that doesn't make a ton of sense. That part was just frustrating and was a major plot element. #LGBTQIA #Witchy
