My kiddos found books at this one and we left some of Mommy‘s! This one is so special. The caregiver for this library made it for her mother who passed away. Her mother was going blind earlier in life and lost her sight completely in the end. She loved listening to audiobooks. This had bookmarks, stickers, glow sticks, and books for all ages. 🥰

Jace became obsessed with Thomas the Train when he was around 3. He‘s 6 now and still loves Thomas. This is a cute Halloween story where Thomas is getting upset with a black cat that keeps running across his track. He feels better when he sees a kid dressed up as Thomas the Train at a Halloween party. 4⭐️

My mom kept a diary when I was very young and somewhere in there - too long ago to mention - she wrote down the exact day I first joined the local library. She would sit with me on the swing in the garden and read me stories for hour after glorious hour. And what did I want? I wanted trains. Always trains. Anything about trains. Seeing this cover takes me right back. I loved these books the best.

Suet624 What a wonderful post. 💕 5y

Here‘s where the tales really take off! With the Thomas stories, there‘s a valuable lesson to be learned at the end of the story. Thomas is so like a small child. He‘s naughty, sprightly, fun, silly, but always teachable. 😉 I loved watching Shining Time Station when I was kid and this was a fun bit of nostalgia. 38/1,001 #1001ChildrensBooks

When his son was ill, Awdry told him stories. His wife saw something in it and soon, the anthropomorphized trains we all know and love were born! This is about Edward, Gordon, and Henry and they each have their own distinct personality. 37/1,001 #1001ChildrensBooks
