She is a former model who "trained" to be a rich man's wife so I'm going with graceful. The book was a mess though...poorly written characters, predictable and supremely unlikely plot and not well written IMO.

Would this be acceptable for peridot? It's essentially a gem with light and dark greens. I've always considered sapphire my gemstone so 🤷♀️
pickNot the most satisfactory ending, but it was fast-paced and I enjoyed reading it.
This book was destined to be converted to a movie/mini-series.

panThis one just did not work for me. I felt as though the book did not know if it wanted to be YA or middle grade and the writing was bland. The parallel war in the doll's world with rats(poor rats are essentially equated to Nazis...sigh) and the relationship with the dollmaker were just weird. I think the audiobook made it all weirder.

I had to rethink my #ReadYourSign list once I realized Earth Clan was an omnibus of parts 2-3 of a trilogy I haven‘t read the 1st installment of. 🤦♀️ I had picked up a few more used copies of some books that fit other prompts since my last post about this prompt too. I‘ll also be doing a buddy read of EEG, the 2020 BTBA winner, over the course of June, but my copy hasn‘t arrived yet, so it didn‘t get to be part of the group pic. 😜 #Virgo
