It was so lovely returning to the world of the Owen family, women & sisters (+1 brother!) once more.

A perfect #FallRead filled with magic, love, familiars, & that special light magical touch that Hoffman is so wonderful at bringing into her story telling.
Maybe not quite as bewitching as 'Practical Magic' but certainly well worth the read. (4/5 🌟's)

Since I was already downtown, decided to do some #Readathon reading at the public library.

Finished this one up & enjoyed it.
Even though I found the writing style a bit simple, I really liked the world building & the story itself. Seeing as this is the 1st book in a series, I'm hopeful that the next installment will be better executed.
