Spotted this online. Part of me thinks this bookshelf is awesome, and part of me wonders where the ladder‘s at. 🤔

Reading in the corner of my bedroom, frantically trying to finish this one (whose review is late). Was hoping the children wouldn‘t find me, but alas. #bookwormproblems

Joyfulmimi I remember when my kids always used to find me. They are grownups now and I have to find them. Life... 😀 4d
Joanne1 I hide with a book often in my bedroom. Out of sight is out of mind for a short time usually! 4d

Went to the mall and stopped by the library. I wasn‘t prepared and didn‘t have a single tote (of the gazillion that I own) with me. Thankfully the cookie lady gave us a bag when we stopped for treats. #bookwormproblems #blackboyjoy #brilliantblackboy #boysreadtoo #blitsy #blacklitsy #librarianmom #kidsoflitsy

I‘m 2/3 of the way through and honestly this is just dragging on and on. Some plot points are belabored and I‘m worried this is going to have an unsatisfying ending 🤨 #bookwormproblems

I‘m headed out on a 10 day trip to visit Mom and the in-laws. In addition to my nook, which has lots of books on it (I won‘t say how many, but let‘s say it‘s in the 100s) I have all these books. I confess I added a 500+ page book in here this morning, as I suddenly HAD to read it immediately. Watch, I won‘t crack it the whole trip. 🙄😆 #bookwormproblems

Mynameisacolour Ha ha! Safe travels! 2w
Leftcoastzen You belong here! I always pack what some would consider way too many books.😀👏📚 2w
Louise I think many of us can relate to this! It‘s a kind of separation anxiety—what if I need this book when I‘m away?! 2w

ljuliel Isn‘t it weird that when we go places, we need to bring books, even though we might not have much time to read them ? I think it‘s the thought of possibly having an hour to spare to yourself. If you don‘t have anything to READ , you almost go into panic mode. We went away for about 5 days to visit relatives. I didn‘t bring a book 😱. I actually borrowed my cousin‘s library card just to have books in my room. (edited) 2w
TheLudicReader Be prepared. 😀 2w
Prairiegirl_reading It‘s better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them! 2w

It looks like this is a matter of debate in several families. It certainly is here: Is ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas‘ a Halloween or a Christmas book/movie? Personally, I think it works as both and I like to revisit it in October as well December. I‘ve heard a lot of people say though that they see it purely as a Halloween story. What do you think? #thenightmarebeforechristmas #bookwormproblems #thebigquestionsoflife #theanswerisNOT42

julesG It works as both. Though it's a Christmas film for me this year. 1mo
DefLeppard @scripturient I have never seen this book so am very jealous but as to the debate I plonk all my nieces and nephews down at both Halloween and Christmas and make them watch it. I mean come on, it's both occasions rolled into one so it just has to be done. Poor kids are so well conditioned by now cos of my obsession with it that they actually ask when we are watching it! 😂 1mo
TheKidUpstairs I definitely see it as both. I usually watch it shortly after Halloween, but before all the Christmas stuff has started. It's the perfect transition movie 😁 1mo

saresmoore Both! And I agree with @TheKidUpstairs —in that case, why not also watch it on Thanksgiving? 😁 1mo
