My #bookreport is exactly the same as my forecast this week (with the addition of Will Smith) so I thought I‘d add some cake to the picture to make it more interesting!

Loved Tirra Lirra, and also Say Nothing, which I still need to post a review for.

Fran Lebowitz and The Great Mistake are still ongoing, and I just started Will on audio this morning. #audioironing

Getting through this #nywd book on audio much more quickly than expected… poor puppy has an upset tummy so I‘m sitting with him in the kitchen in case he needs to go outside in a hurry. 😬

To make matters worse, he had learnt which door to use to go out but the handle broke this morning so he has to go out a different way! 😱

Anyway, the book is fab! @julesG - I think you‘d really like this, if you haven‘t read it already.

Joint #bookreport and #weeklyforecast. I‘ve been *really* slumpy this week, only wanting to read magazines or watch TV, which isn‘t like me at all!

Actually, audio has been working really well for me and I loved both Magpie and Before You Knew My Name; Matrix is great so far, I started it whilst #audioironing earlier.

I was enjoying Fresh Water but didn‘t feel like picking it up, but it suddenly grabbed me last night so maybe slump is over!

I hope to finish Empire of Pain in the next day or two- it‘s so good so far. Touch the Dragon is for #thailand #readingasia2021 - it‘s pretty interesting.

I just started listening to Malibu Rising and need to do some #audioironing shortly. I‘m planning to start With the End in Mind shortly.

I finished the top 3 this week - all good reads but none of them ‘5 star‘.

Over halfway through Palestinian Walks, for #readingasia2021. I found the Duggal on Scribd, as it‘s on this Monday‘s Between The Covers on BBC2 - good so far.

Just started On Chapel Sands this morning. #audioironing

Another good reading week... absolutely loved Betty and enjoyed the other 3 that I finished this week too.

Of the two ongoing books, The Gates of Damascus took a while to get into but now it‘s settled into more a rhythm so hopefully that will be another good one. I‘m listening to Leave the World Behind and really liking it so far. #audioironing

I finished 2 books that I forecasted for this week, and also made great progress on two others.

Read most of Hamnet whilst at the hairdressers yesterday morning, and listened to a lot of The Switch this morning whilst batch cooking bolognese. #audiocooking

Both of the ‘nearly finished‘ books are on November‘s #bookspinbingo board so can‘t finish either until tomorrow. Damn, that means I can‘t do the ironing until then! #audioironing 🤣

Only one book finished this week, which is what I expected due to new job.

I‘ve nearly finished Saint X though, which I‘m loving. Did some #audioironing this morning and I‘m going to do some #audiotidying now, to finish it off.

The Midnight Library arrived on Libby earlier this week and I think I‘m about halfway through that.

None of the above are on my #bookspinbingo board so they‘ll be free spaces when they‘re finished!

My June roundup....another good month in terms of both numbers of books and, more importantly, quality of books.

Who‘d have thought I‘d listen to 5 audiobooks in a month?! This is me who, at the beginning of the year, hadn‘t listened to even 1 audiobook and ‘didn‘t like‘ them!

And, of my 4 faves in the month! 3 were on audio! 🎧🎧🎧

Went clothes "shopping" at my aunt-in-law's yesterday. She is clearing out her closets and gave me a box of clothes to take away. I was able to keep between 85 and 90% of it -- a few things were too big or not really my style. Now to do a bit of #AudioIroning!
