Kaye @Cinfhen No, there are certain levels I don‘t cross when reading true crime. When a book goes into too much gory disgusting detail just for the sake of a story I won‘t read it. Anything graphically mutilating , lots of things involving kids , depending on how detailed it is, and I cannot read about school shootings. I‘ve never read any of those. 7y

Through the Woods | Emily Carroll

This graphic novel contained many a #boogieman. I thought the stories were perfectly executed and perfectly creepy for this time of year. I gave it five stars, and it is my favorite graphic novel I‘ve ever read.

The #boogieman on Terry Pratchett's discworld is called bogeyman. They scare people and hide under beds or behind doors. A way to subdue a bogeyman is to put a blanket on his head. The theory goes that everyone knows bogeymen disappear if you put the blankets over your head, and so by putting a blanket over a bogeyman's head his belief in his own existance is impaired.
