As the daughter of an alcoholic, I appreciated both characters and loved them. This was a wonderful read that also dealt with hard issues.

It took me awhile to get into this but once I did I was in love. The characters were more well rounded than I've seen in some. I expected this to be more like Outlander than it was. It was different in its own way.
