Cinfhen @cocomass I agree!! I read those 2 and gave them both 5 stars my third was Pachinko, which I gave 4 stars. I have The Power & want to read PriestDaddy. I actually bailed on Autumn @LittleWonder I couldn't get into it🤷♀️ 6y

Marchpane Well... only 5 are fiction so... I've read 4 of those 5 😂 The one I didn't get to was Exit West, I've seen mixed reviews so it's still in TBR. 6y

Marchpane @cinfhen I do read NF, just nowhere near as much as I do fiction! Plus 3 of the 5 here are US history which is not really my bag. But the other two (Priestdaddy & the Darwin book) are right up my street. 6y
DivaDiane 😱I‘m 0/10! Actually I‘m not surprised, I have really gotten out of the habit of reading the latest books, unless they are SFF, and then also not often. But there are a couple I would put on my TBR: The Power; Prairie Fires; and Sing, Unburied, Sing. 6y

Cinfhen I have not read Priest Daddy and was surprised it made this list too, because I thought it's a little low brow for The NY Times, where as Grant is probably more respectable @emilyhaldi my OVERDRIVE still does not offer Priest Daddy... what happened with you & Power??? Every time you see me read a new release it‘s because some Litten made it sound too good to resist! #brokemyTBR 6y

Centique @Cinfhen oh you‘re so lovely! I feel if I read a book while people are still busily talking about it I might believe the hype and then be disappointed. With older books, the world feels nice and quiet to me. I‘m an eccentric😂 😊 6y
