If you enjoy books by Pema Chodron, I welcome you to dig deeper into Buddhist wisdom with this text. Norman Fischer‘s zen interpretation of this work is also excellent. ☸️ I would have preferred a print edition, but I am rich in Audible credits, so audio had to do.

I really enjoyed Chapter 4 about when things go horribly wrong. And how we react to it.
In the middle it bogged down. Became to woo woo for me and I skimmed a bit. Finished reading last chapters. But all in all I liked the basic message of How We Live Is How We Die.

pickNot the tagged book. 😒 Pema Chodron was asked to come out of her own retreat to offer a weekend retreat to a group at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Pema‘s teachings over that weekend were recorded in front of the live audience and produced in audiobook format for everyone to enjoy. I love that Buddhist teachings are extremely relatable to my daily life.
