Tonight's book is the first in a new #cozycrime series. So far it feels a bit like jumping into the middle of a series but no one's dead yet, so it's still early days! Whisper it quietly though, but I think the cover looks a bit... cheap and naff. That font...

Another fantastic series I'll now have to stock up on! I'm not sure if you can class this as #cozycrime it's more serious, along the lines of Dame Agathas Poirot & the darker Phryne Fishers. Beautifully written, I flew through it in a few hours, can't wait to get to the rest. The injuries that were described in this book from WWI mortar fire were so horrific, I went to the internet and the photos made my heart hurt. War, indeed, is hell. 5⭐️
