I‘m running out of Chamberlain‘s backlog… I only have a few left that I haven‘t read/listened to! This one, set mostly in 1993, has a somewhat timeless feel (other than the lack of phones, really). In one year, two estranged sisters on opposite ends of the country deal with their past. The romance angle for Claire feels a bit awkward at times, but the fast pace and way the past unfolds makes this a riveting listen that hooked me from the start!
Well it is the eve of Christmas for those of us who celebrate and amazingly I have not received a single book. However I love myself and purchased this one. I have read it more than once via KU, purchased the ebook, and now I have it in paperback format. Huzzah. I just love the Tal Bauer books I have read. I own ebooks: The Jock, The Quarterback, Gravity, The Rest of the Story, & this one. Friends 2 lovers, bi awakening, hurt comfort.

2- all the Christmas romances I can get my hands on!
Great MC romance. I wanted to know more about every character. Unfortunately this is the only book in the series and the author has vanished from publishing new work or having an online presence. 3.5 spicy 🌶️
There is a lot of action, but not much suspense. There isn‘t much substance... It wasn't a bad story, just not a “wow“ :)
I‘m a big fan of a good family drama. This one is about siblings who haven‘t spoken for over a decade who have to gather at their family mansion together in order to inherit after their mothers death. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4⭐️ I really quite liked the overall story. Was chosen as a #bookclub read and read it while I was on my Oregon/Mt. St. Helen‘s trip. Definitely for those that like #familydrama ‘s. I think one reason that I enjoyed it was that it felt realistic and felt like the author really had in mind what she wanted to write. Didn‘t blow my mind by any means, but was engaging enough for me to stick with the book and enjoy it.
