For my #OctPhotoChallenge , here's one of my favorite #classiccharacter. Odysseus is as smart as he is strong, and is always searching for home. For someone with a wandering soul, I feel ya, O. I feel ya. (Also, when I graduated college last year, the joke was that it took me longer to get a degree than it took him to get home.) Laalaleighh I go through this thing with soundtracks where every few days a different song is the one I can't get out of my head. Which is all well and good until for three days you're going around singing Stay Alive-reprise and then the next three days (i.e right now) you can't get It's Quiet Uptown out of your head. Eyyyy it's round 3 of the #augustphotochallenge ! Since I realized a huge chunk of my nonfiction *is* political books, here are two stacks of my favorite topics: Cold War spies (left) and the 1960s (right). MrBook Well, it's always been Washington for me. (LOVE Chernow's bio of him.) After reading about Adams and Coolidge, they've definitely moved up my rankings. Jackson has moved down significantly (his treatment was Native Americans and blacks was horrendous!!!). And I think Jefferson has had the most false myths created about him, poor guy. 8y

brendanmleonard @MrBook Jackson was the worst (populism yeah yeah), but Buchanan and A. Johnson are pretty bad, too. My least favorite is Hayes, though. Ron Chernow is using that sweet sweet Hamilton money to write a Grant bio - can't wait! 8y
