She went undercover with the help of Mavis and Trina and captured Kevin who was easy enough to turn. Lucius was a tougher nut to crack. And he was not willing to let Kevin get away with betraying him. But he thought killing him would solve his problems and he was wrong. ⬇️
#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Book 13:Ch.11-15: oh boy, the saga of Peabody and Mcnab is ongoing - and it‘s so entertaining! As for the case, Eve is soooo close - she ran a search on Lucius! Here‘s hoping she‘ll put two and two together and link him with his bestie Kevin. It is very interesting reading more from the perspective of the killers in this book. I was surprised they killed Dr.McNamara but shouldn‘t have been. ⬇️
#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Book 13 Ch.6-10: we‘re definitely making some progress in the case - Eve‘s intuition is right on the mark when it comes to these two scumbag murderers. She just has to catch them. Could the woman who survived her attack be the key? In other interesting developments- McNab is finally made to realize he loves Peabody. And Charles connects with Louise (which is a great match in my opinion).
#IDLR #InDeathLongReadalong Book 13: Ch.1-5: we‘re back with a case that will hit close to home for Eve, as all sexual homicides do. We see some of our past characters- Dr.Louise Dimatto and Charles Monroe, as well as the usual gang of our faves. Peabody and McNab are still butt-hurt over each other. Eve told everyone that would happen - but did anyone listen? 😝she loves to remind them all. ⬇️

We‘ll stick to our regular schedule of 5 chapters a week and 7 chapters the last week to finish. We‘ll check in on Sundays. Let me know if you want to be added or removed from my tag list.
