#fiercefeb #ithinkImparanoid. Here‘s a short stack of different genres that usually have somebody thinking someone or something is out to get them. Maybe it‘s Zombies 🧟‍♂️ or evil geniuses or giant robots 🤖 or wicked classmates or mean souls - 🐉

Cinfhen Nice sampling of paranoia 😊😂 6y
Dragon Thanks @Cinfhen I didn‘t even delve into the romance and fantasy novels that are dripping with paranoia 😀🐉 6y
batsy What @Cinfhen said, love the variety 😁 6y
Dragon Thanks @batsy 👍🐉 6y

Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald | Therese Anne Fowler
post image

Text above from pbs.org

#fiercefeb #ithinkimparanoid

It‘s probable that Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald was bipolar, and if she had been born a few decades later she might have had some better medical help. However her destructive relationship with F Scott didn‘t help - she even wondered at one point if he was pilfering from her diaries for his novels! #paranoia that may have been deserved.

PS this book is a fictionalised version of their lives

Centique Oh and that‘s a painting of hers that she did in a sanitorium. ❤️ 6y
Cinfhen Great post ❣️👏🏻👏🏻I've been meaning to read this book forever 😩 6y
Centique @Cinfhen it is good but I think I read a biography that was even better. Just can‘t think which one it was! 🤔 6y

Cinfhen Let me know if u remember! 6y
Zelma @Centique Was it this one? I read it years ago and though it was really good! 6y
batsy In Kate Zambreno's Heroines there's an interesting discussion about how the focus on the husband, or his male artistic genius, was difficult for Zelda as a blocked artist 6y
batsy I enjoyed this bio, too, for its feminist lens in looking at their marriage 6y
batsy Great choice for this, btw! 👍🏽 6y
Centique @batsy @zelma awesome! I knew somebody would know a good one ✊ @Cinfhen 6y
Centique @batsy I‘m stacking Heroines that sounds fabulous! 6y
Cinfhen Perfect!! I'll wait for your reviews🤓😉 6y

#FierceFeb #IThinkImParanoid ?This book seems like a slower start than "I Found You"--but it is supposed to be "a deliciously creepy tale of urban paranoia" according to Ruth Ware so it fit's today's musical prompt. With my late lunch--the finished Lentil Vegetable Soup from an Ina Garten recipe. After tasting it I can see why it has a 5-Star rating on the Food Network. It's simple but really good. ?❤️Link to soup recipe is below.

MinDea This is on my tbr. I bought it for @Jess7. I hope to read it soon! 6y

“It‘s a tree”? “It‘s a giant”? “It‘s a giant sitting on a tree”? “Is that a dick”? “Am I right?” #ithinkimparanoid #FierceFeb

Zelma On an extremely shallow note, he was a looker. 😍 6y
Cinfhen Hahaha @Zelma my first thought too🙄😬😉 6y

UrsulaMonarch Great synopsis! I just finished this & loved it! 👍 6y
vivastory @UrsulaMonarch It's amazing. She managed to pack so much into a relatively small book 6y

vivastory @batsy it's a quick read, but it will stay with you 6y
UrsulaMonarch @vivastory agreed! I definitely found parts of it dense - in a good way - and reread parts 6y
UrsulaMonarch I feel like I lost track a LITTLE when the Aliens came on the scene! 6y
vivastory @UrsulaMonarch I definitely think it's a book that would offer new insights with each reading. It would make for an amazing movie. 6y
UrsulaMonarch @vivastory good point! I'm planning to give my copy to a friend who is visiting in a couple of weeks - maybe I'll try to reread before then! 😊 6y
PeanutButterPie @vivastory apparently it‘s been made into a movie twice, the most recent according to Wikipedia veers sharply from the book but the original is apparently very well done 6y
vivastory @PeanutButterPie Thanks for the info! I will definitely be checking it out! 6y
