Mirror Mirror: A Novel | Gregory Maguire

Maguire is hit or miss with me. I love to read well known fairy tales told from different points of view and Maguire often does that with creativity. However, it can be such a chore to wade through his layers of symbolism.

LibrarianRyan @mrp27 I love that most of his books have an undercover. It's like a secret to the story. What the dickens didn't and it one of his better stories. Still literary but written for kids and way more approachable.

Bookstore Cat | Cindy Wheeler

I couldn't share anything for #BookswithPets other than this photo of my beloved 15-year-old cat, who I lost last year. He loved to sit on my books, get into the bookshelf, and just generally act like a bookstore cat. My new kittens haven't figured books out quite yet. Clwojick Awe! I love him! This is too cute. He seems like he was quite gentle to the Books. My beast Totem likes to try stuff like this, but he‘s a klutz and he sends up knocking them all down. 😂 7y
