This was a medium-paced medical thriller taking place in Boston. It had lots of medical terminology used to describe patients and their conditions. There were patient right to die issues. The issues of “for profit” healthcare have frustrated me and while reading this, those feelings were present. 4/5⭐️

My first Gerritsen read that‘s outside the world of ‘Rizzoli & Isles‘. I loved it💖 The tension & the setting were excellent. I will absolutely be looking for more📚🤓

CoverToCoverGirl Yay! A new series always a very happy circumstance.😊 3mo

First time reading this author. I‘m not into paranormal stories as I do not believe in ghosts or apparitions. This story was quite interesting and kept me intrigued the entire time. I was not happy with the ending. I felt like it was rushed, and I hate when endings are rushed, overall was a good read.

The tagged book is one of the few horrors I have read. When I did read horror it was by Robin Cook. Brain is quite a wild ride.

For thrillers I recommend Tess Gerritsen, Kathy Reichs, Dan Brown.

I also highly recommend any man by Amber Tamblyn.

I will never stop recommending if we were villains by m. l. rio or the 7.5 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. #tlt

thebacklistbook 7 1/2 deaths is by Stuart Turton 7mo

Book 14 for #SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView

Not as good as Cook's older books. I figured out what was going to happen in the first part of book. More a rant about healthcare in America. We already know it sucks. Goodreads Giveaway that I won.

I didn‘t hate it. The mystery was ok. But Adam, the main character, is an asshole. The whole plot could‘ve largely been avoided if he had communicated with his wife instead of yelling at her and “insisting” she obey him without question. And honestly, I doubt even in the 80s nobody walked into an Dr office and said “I‘m so-and-so and I‘m here for an abortion.” 🙄

This was an abridged audio, so a little choppy at times, but overall not bad. I doubt that it will stick with me though.
