The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires: A Novel | Grady Hendrix

This book was such a crazy ride! I really enjoyed it! While the story is about a vampire preying on a small southern community, it is also really about sexism and racism and how far mothers will go to protect their families. I'll be thinking about this one for quite awhile! 💕👿🍑

Stephanie Meyer is finally releasing Midnight Sun on August 4th! 😍 After over a decade of no new Twilight books, we are finally getting a 600+ tome featuring Edward's point of view. I am probably waaaay more happy about this than I should be, but I don't even care! GingerAntics @DGRachel right? Maybe I won‘t think Edward is a controlling, emotionally abusive idiot after reading it. Jasper was always my favourite character anyway. Wasn‘t a fan of what Twilight and History had to say about him. Then again, I wasn‘t really a fan of what it had to say about Edward either. It seemed it was just a bunch of cheap shots, worse case scenarios. (edited) 5y
