Tale of Peter Rabbit (Anniversary) | Beatrix Potter

I think I‘m physically incapable of leaving a bookstore without purchasing books. I had an hour and a half to kill between the time my train arrived in Cary and my lunch date with friends, so where better to spend that time than the local B&N. It has been completely rearranged since the last time I was there, but I still found a few books. And a Peter Rabbit & a PR tote (with a tail!). 🐰😱 #bookhaul #nortoncriticaledition #sohocrime

DGRachel @8little_paws There were a couple nit-picky things I didn‘t like, but overall it was a really positive experience and it was so much more relaxing than driving 7 hours round trip by myself. I can definitely see myself taking the train again and I may even go to Cary more often because of the convenience. 😊 6y

Lcsmcat I love Amtrak, and the Cary station is my “home station” even though I live in another town. 6y

DGRachel @Lcsmcat The Cary station is beautiful. So bright and airy. I miss Cary a lot. I lived there for 5 1/2 years. Charlotte is nice, but I would rather be back in Cary. 6y

The Three Musketeers | Alexandre Dumas

I reorganized my bedroom bookshelves last night and realized my copy of the tagged book is in the living room with all the other #PenguinClassicsDeluxeEditions. I don‘t want to split those, so I went back to B&N for this lovely version. Since I was there, I replaced a couple of my mass market paperbacks with B&N trade editions and grabbed another #NortonCriticalEdition, because #Norton. 😍 Yep, I have a problem. 😂

wanderinglynn I do that too. I‘ll read a book in paperback, but if it‘s one that I want to keep on my permanent library, I‘ll upgrade editions. I also have several versions of my favorite books. 😀 7y

DGRachel @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks No, I‘m not. I‘d struggle to write in a book that other people would have to read, too. I pretty much only write in my NCEs and similar books. I do love annotating all my Kindle books, though. I use the highlight function A LOT. 7y

CarlyQuinn As a teacher, this is hard for me BUT as a drama major, English minor, this is totally normal, UNLESS it‘s a classic or it‘s part of a matching set (such as my set of Shakespeare‘s works, etc. I do though tend to mark the poop out of scripts and textbooks. Highlights, pencil, sticky notes, etc. 7y
