so-soA simple romcom in a graphic novel shell. The plotline is quite predictable and cliche. The illustration is quite good. The autumn theme and color pallette gives an aura to the illustrations.

1. I can‘t really think of a lot of books I‘ve read set in autumn. A lot of them are actually set in winter. Maybe, The Scarecrow King by Jill Myles? Or pumpkin heads by Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks.

pickI have a feeling I‘m going to read Pumpkin Heads every year now. I‘m so glad I finally read it! I also read Peppa Pig and the Halloween Costume. Very cute and my daughter obviously loved it since we read it twice in a row. My time for #cyoreadathon is only 1:09:35, but that was to be expected with working through lunch. This is the perfect read for fall, especially if you're wanting a cute Halloween read. The colors and illustrations were great, such a beautiful fall aesthetic...so many autumnal vibes! It gives me all the fall feels and it makes me want to visit that pumpkin patch or find one just like it. I also want to try a pumpkin bomb! It was such a treat to read!

pickOkay, so I wasn't really sure if I should get this book but after seeing so many posts about it, I caved. #Pumpkinheads was my first #graphicnovel, actually, and I adored it! The story is sweet and adorable and the art is just gorgeous. 💚 It was a perfect October read. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Also, I really want to visit a pumpkin patch – and I don't even like pumpkins! (Unless they're used as decoration 🎃)
