#FierceFeb #RichMansDream 💰I use this book often for prompts, mainly because I like it so much. It was my first thought for today's musical prompt because Jesse Itzler is a rich man (on his own-not to mention that his wife is the billionaire inventor of SPANX) who had a dream of being mentally tougher & in better physical condition so he hired a Navy SEAL to come live with him & his family & train (torture) him for a month-a rich man's dream. 💸

I'm going to go literal for this prompt and interpret #richmansdream as the wealthy Gibreel dreaming irreverently about the origins of Islam. We could also say that Alleluia Cone is the *crazy* rich man's dream for all of the insanity she puts up with (and not even the sympathetic variety- a famous jerk who happens to be insane, basically).

Musical sidenote- Neoboys were not on my punk radar but I like this song 😃

Eliza was shaped into a #richmansdream as she became both more and less herself. I don't typically read plays, but this one speaks to me. I'm also partial to this beat-up old copy that I got who knows where.

I loved reading this book many years ago and it certainly fits. I just saw online that there is concern about Golden westernising some aspects though so it would be good for me to also read a book written from real experience of this life.

Tess finds out in this book, that being a #richmansdream isn‘t always such a treat 👎
